this image is from chris jordan’s site, where he did a series of photos on baby albatross carcasses that have died from being fed human waste products such as bottle caps and lighters. his photographs look like they were arranged but he claims that none of the carcasses were touched or rearranged for the photographs. it is pretty sad when all a parent wants to do is to feed their child, but not knowing better, they actually end up killing their own babies. i’m kind of a pessimist when it comes to the whole humanity thing, i honestly think there is nothing that we, as humans, can do to repair all the damage we have done to the earth and its creatures. slow down the process of killing everything off, a slim maybe. but seriously, have you SEEN the photos of china, india, and other 3rd world countries that us 1st world countries have abused for decades and decades? i’m obviously guilty, this is probably the 5th computer i’ve owned in my life.
anyways, i’ll save that for another time, have a look at these photos, they are pretty eerie and sad.

I visited Whytecliff for the first time with my pals Carly and Valerie last Saturday. It was a day full of sun, watching dead jellyfish float by, weddings and scuba divers. Oh, and popsicles. I’d like to go back before the rain takes over again.

Another attempt at a blog! Hooray!
This time: less writing, more photos!
Here are just a few shots from not super recent, but recent enough when I took photos for The Hastings Set + Sharks and Hammers Present…Class Of… at the Met every Thursday with rotating DJs! This was the Gangsta-Boogie night on August 20th, 2009 with Crimes and Treasons’ DJs Brendan Butter + Relly Rel$!
Good times as always…
Shot on Nikon D300.
